Shipping & Return Policies

We understand that ordering spirits online is new for many people (that's why we're here). Please feel free to contact us directly with concerns or questions: cheers@curiada.com

Adult Signature Is Required [read me]

And we will work with you, the retailer, and the carrier - all parties - to make sure your order is delivered at a time when it can be signed for OR that it's routed somewhere to be held for you. Orders are fulfilled by premium carriers and last mile delivery services.

If an unsuccessful delivery attempt is made, the carrier will call you to schedule a time that works for you. They'll also make 2 more delivery attempts.

We do this all day long. Mix ups happen pretty rarely, less than 1% of the time. Sometimes 3 delivery attempts are made, the carrier calls you and can't get through, or someone makes a mistake and an order is returned to sender.

When this happens, we have your order sent right back out to you at our expense.

Favor to ask: if you're writing in about delivery timing - help us out a little in that first email: 

1. Let us know when a good time for deliver is - we'll pass it along to the carrier and do our absolute best to accommodate

2. If you'll be out of town and are worried about timing, tell us the window you DON'T want it delivered - "hey Curiada, can the order not be delivered the 10th - 13th?". That's it. Don't actually tell strangers when you're out of town. 

We pay for delivery attempts, returned orders, and restocking, and we want you to have these great bottles, so we're all in this together. 

Someday, we'll have some great Amazon-like technology that makes this a breeze for everyone, until then, you're stuck with standard tracking #s and us; Adam, Joanna, Joey, and Jared on the customer service line.

Shipping & Handling Fees

All orders incur a flat-rate fee for shipping and handling of $17.99.

Current Delivery Timeframes

Typically, most orders are processed within 72 hours. Under normal circumstances transit time is 1-7 days. 
 
With the pandemic, supply chain challenges, and higher demand for shipping services, there continue to be delays. We will notify anyone whose order is projected to be delayed and communicate an expected timeline for delivery. Thank you for your patience!
 

Order Acceptance Policy

Availability of spirit brands varies. All orders are accepted, fulfilled and delivered by a licensed retailer within our network. We are committed to constant customer communication through the ordering process. We are working diligently to partner with additional local retailers so we can expand delivery to more places.  
 
Availability varies by product. Please enter your zip code on a product page to check availability. Curiada is available to 80% (and counting) of the United States.
 
At the current time, Curiada.com is not available outside of the United States.

Shipping Protection

Every order includes shipping protection through Route+, the leader in package protection and tracking solutions. 

With Route+ your order will be protected from damage, loss*, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is broken upon arrival, you can easily file a claim with Route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed. 
 
*Claims for packages marked "delivered" yet not received and where there is no evidence of “porch piracy” must be made 5 days after “delivery date” but no longer than 15 days to ensure it was not mis-delivered or easily found around the premises. Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.

A note on shipping and handling fees

We'd love to be able to offer free shipping, but we need to be sure your bottles make it to you in a timely and intact fashion with the extra care and compliance necessary when shipping alcohol! That's why our retail partners use secure delivery services, to ensure your order arrives to you. You'll also notice that our bottles are priced similarly to in-store prices. We charge a small handling fee to cover packaging and labor from our retail partners who pick, pack, and deliver your bottles. We will do everything we can to make this cost as reasonable as possible for you. Thanks for understanding.
 

Home Delivery

If you've ever ordered alcohol online, you likely noticed that it's often quite complicated. Some brands are available in some states but not in others. This is because each state has their own laws about who can send and receive alcohol and how.
 
Our commitment to you is that we will make everything as simple and streamlined as possible, while working behind the scenes with our partners to follow every local, state, and federal law.
 

Delivery Policy

You must be at least 21 years old to submit orders for purchase on Curiada.com. By placing your order you have represented to Curiada and our retail partners that you are at least 21 years old. All deliveries must be received by an adult of legal drinking age and this person must have photo identification present if asked for proof of age.
 
An email will immediately acknowledge receipt of your order, while a second email will confirm your order has been processed and is prepared for shipment. We will contact you by the end of the next business day if there is any problem with your order. 
 
We're sorry, but products cannot be shipped to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally. Shipping charges are, unfortunately, not refundable. If a product arrives damaged, we definitely want to know!  Please reach out.

 

Packaging

Your items will be delivered in a plain box with no marks or branding on the exterior, which helps minimize the risk of theft.
 

Return Policy

Unfortunately, returns cannot be accepted. It's critical to us that you're satisfied. If you experience a problem with a delivery or a product, please let us know within 7 days of receipt. Please include; recipient's name, order number, brief explanation and we will promptly address it. If you're unhappy with a product, tell us and we'll come up with a solution to help you get something you'll enjoy.
