Añejo, Let’s Go! Set: Tromba, Cazadores
This set includes two of the three tequilas recommended to pair with Shaker & Spoon’s Añejo, Let’s Go! Box. You can try each one with all the featured cocktails in the box, and still have plenty of tequila left over for your own crafted creations!

Añejo tequila brings notes of vanilla, toasted coconut, and black pepper to the forefront of a sturdy agave profile, and “Tequila Tromba Añejo is an easily approachable añejo,” says Jessica Sanders. “It’s not viscous, and it’s overflowing with vanilla and caramel, so it's perfect for cocktails but still a fantastic sipper.” From the first taste, you're reminded that Tromba is cooked agave, but it has the clean notes of fresh green apples and bright citrus and finishes dry with a light sweetness and red earth, a lasting reminder of the character of the agave fields.
Something normally found more in valley tequilas, Tequila Cazadores Añejo has a delightfully floral nose with hints of citrus and roasted agave, with a nice dusty base. The beautiful golden color catches the eye, and although it's lighter than other añejos out there, it is very approachable, both in terms of profile and budget. And as Analise Stettner says, “Cazadores Añejo’s flavor is delicate and slightly woody with notes of caramel and cocoa, which makes it perfect for your cocktail concoctions but it’s also a lovely sipper on its own. This añejo has a well composed flavor with just the right amount of spice.”
