What is the history of Teeling Whiskey?

The Teeling family's association with Irish whiskey can be traced back to 1782 when Walter Teeling established a small craft distillery in Dublin. Over two centuries later, brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling ushered in a new generation of family involvement in the industry. In 2012, they established the Teeling Whiskey Company, reviving the family tradition and rooting it in the heart of Dublin once more. Their first product, the Teeling Small Batch, arrived in 2013, and the Teeling distillery – the first new distillery in Dublin in over 125 years – opened its doors in 2015.
