Cocktail Description
One sip of the Grape Escape Caipirinha transports you to a São Paulo sunset, where the sweet burst of muddled grapes meets the grassy funk of cachaça in perfect harmony.
This Brazilian-inspired cocktail builds on the traditional caipirinha foundation but adds a fruity twist with juicy red grapes that complement the lime's bright acidity. The Novo Fogo Chameleon Cachaça brings grassy, vegetal notes that mellow beautifully when the spirit is stored in the freezer before mixing. While it requires some muddling technique, this cocktail is straightforward to prepare at home, making it accessible for cocktail enthusiasts with basic bar tools.
Perfect for warm summer evenings or as a refreshing aperitif, the Grape Escape works wonderfully alongside grilled seafood, particularly salt-crusted fish or garlic shrimp. The cocktail's fruity profile also stands up nicely to spicy Brazilian feijoada or even a simple charcuterie board featuring aged cheeses and cured meats.
