Cocktail Description
This tropical cocktail brings together Brazil's vibrant cachaça with fresh pineapple and lime in a dance of flavors that's both refreshing and complex.
The Pineapple Lime Samba delivers a perfect balance of tartness from the muddled lime wedges, sweetness from the sugar and fresh pineapple, and the grassy, vegetal notes of Novo Fogo Chameleon Cachaça. While it requires some muddling effort, this cocktail isn't overly complicated to prepare—the key is thoroughly extracting the fruit juices and properly diluting with cracked ice. The Samba makes an ideal companion for lazy summer afternoons by the pool or as a pre-dinner drink on warm evenings when you want something more interesting than a standard mojito. Its bright, fruity profile pairs beautifully with spicy foods like jerk chicken, Brazilian feijoada, or grilled fish tacos, as the sweetness helps temper the heat while the acidity cuts through rich dishes.
