Cocktail Description
The Raspberry Samba delivers a vibrant explosion of sweet-tart berries and citrus, balanced by the grassy funk of cachaça in a refreshing Brazilian-inspired cocktail that'll transport you straight to Rio.
This ruby-hued drink combines muddled fresh raspberries and lime with Brazil's national spirit, creating layers of bright fruit flavors that dance with the distinctive sugarcane notes of cachaça. The careful muddling technique ensures maximum extraction of the fruits' essential oils and juices, while cracked ice dilutes just enough to soften the drink's edges. Perfect for summer gatherings or anytime you need a taste of tropical sunshine, the Raspberry Samba works beautifully alongside grilled seafood, spicy street tacos, or even a simple cheese board featuring creamy goat cheese. Despite requiring some muddling finesse, it's a straightforward cocktail to prepare at home—just be patient with dissolving the sugar completely for the proper balance. The presentation in a tall highball glass showcases its gorgeous color, making it as visually appealing as it is delicious.
