Cocktail Description

The Tomato Blossom Daiquiri turns garden-fresh ingredients into a surprisingly sophisticated sipper that'll make you rethink everything you know about tomatoes in drinks.

This clever riff on the classic daiquiri muddles sweet cherry tomatoes and aromatic basil with white rum, creating a drink that tastes like summer in a glass—bright, herbaceous, and perfectly balanced between savory and sweet. The St-Germain adds a delicate floral note that lifts the tomato's natural sweetness, while fresh lemon juice keeps everything lively and sharp. It's a fantastic choice for garden parties, weekend brunch, or as a pre-dinner drink that actually stimulates your appetite instead of dulling it. The muddling takes a bit of elbow grease, but otherwise this one comes together quickly enough for a weeknight treat. Pair it with light Mediterranean fare—think bruschetta, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto, or grilled fish with herbs—where the drink's savory-sweet profile complements rather than competes. The tomato's umami depth makes this daiquiri feel almost like a meal in itself, while still maintaining the refreshing quality that makes you want another sip.
