Experience Mr Black Coffee Amaro - 750ml & 57 Proof
Coffee. Citrus. Cacao. Enjoy.
We like a Halfsies - half rye and half amaro. Or top off with tonic for a Coffee Spritz. Some people even like to sip it on ice, think: boozy iced coffee with botanical goodness. Not necessarily in the morning... but not necessarily not in the morning.
Mr Black Coffee Amaro Production Notes
Mr Black Coffee Amaro is created from 14 macerated & distilled botanicals. Many, like local grapefruit, are grown in the garden at the the Mr Black distillery in Erina, Australia. This is the very same place where the coffee is roasted, cold-brewed, and and blended into this complex liqueur. As with all of Mr Black's spirits, Mr Black Coffee Amaro is made with exceptional 100% Arabica coffee beans, their bittersweet flavor providing the perfect base for this modern amaro.
About Mr Black Coffee Amaro
An Australian distiller and an Australian coffee roaster bonded over their love of the drink (both coffee and spirits.) They decided to take Australia's coffee culture from day to night, introducing Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur to the world. Here Mr Black head distiller Philip Moore married his passion for fine coffee with three decades of botanical exploration to create this unique, special recipe coffee amaro.
Please drink responsibly. CA Residents: Proposition 65 Warning.

Very similar to Mr. Black's regular coffee liqueur but with added citrus notes. (For those unfamiliar with their regular coffee liqueur, it is done in a cold brew style and is less sweet than most other types of coffee liqueur.) The result is nicely balanced. Very drinkable on its own. Slightly sweet. Still looking for good cocktail recipes to help show off its flavor profile. Was this helpful?
- Tim B.I recommend this productRated 5 stars4 months agoI went to great lengths to get Mr. Black Coffee Amaro – so glad it's available here, now
I tried a bottle of Mr. Black Coffee Amaro last year, and was immediately sold on it. I didn't have high expectations for a blend of a coffee liqueur (as good as Mr. Black is!), citrus, and botanicals. It sounded interesting enough to order a bottle, but I didn't think I'd need more than one. I'm here to admit I was wrong. I enjoy sipping Mr. Black Coffee Amaro on the rocks. The blend of bitter and a hint of sweet with the roasted coffee and the citrus works like magic!
Unfortunately, by the time I tried my first bottle, I was unable to get my hands on additional bottles in the US. My wife was thoughtful enough to buy me a case from a distributor in Europe. I can't imagine what the postage was on that. I'm so glad to see that the next time my supply runs low, I have the option of buying Mr. Black Coffee Amaro from the fine folks at Curiada! Please don't make the mistake that I made – don't pass up the chance to stock up on this wonderful amaro. Was this helpful?
