Martin Miller's Gin is a London Dry Gin  crafted in England .

Martin Miller's Gin stands out for its unique production process, which involves distilling the botanicals in England and then blending the spirit with pure Icelandic spring water. This gin is also notable for its use of two separate distillations - one for juniper and earthier botanicals, and another for citrus peels - which are then carefully combined to create a beautifully balanced flavor profile. An intriguing fact about Martin Miller's Gin is that it travels over 3,000 miles during its production journey, from England to Iceland and back again, earning it the nickname "the gin that goes to Iceland and back."

Why We Love It

Martin Miller's Gin stands out for its unique production process, which involves shipping the distilled gin from England to Iceland for blending with pure Icelandic spring water. This exceptional water source, combined with a dual-distillation method that separates citrus and non-citrus botanicals, results in a remarkably smooth and balanced gin with a distinctive flavor profile featuring notes of citrus, juniper, and a subtle floral character.

Sweeter than a London Dry; drier than an Old Tom

Just before visiting Iceland, I decided that I needed to try this gin, finished using Icelandic glacier water. It made for a nice martini, albeit a bit sweeter than my usual go-tos using Plymouth or Botanist. More of a change-up drink than an every day, but quite enjoyable.

    Bad bottle or Prohibition hooch?

Ordered a bottle because Anders Erickson used it in his martini video. Very disappointed. The nose is harsh and antiseptic. No hint of juniper. Tastes like diluted Everclear to me. Maybe the batch I had got fouled?

I like most gins (exception is Tanqueray No. 10).
