Ramazzotti Amaro is a Amaro  crafted in Italy .

Ramazzotti Amaro is a beloved Italian herbal liqueur with a rich history dating back to 1815, when Ausano Ramazzotti created it as a digestive aid in his small bar in Milan. What sets this amaro apart is its unique blend of 33 herbs and roots, including gentian, rhubarb, and cinnamon, resulting in a complex flavor profile that balances sweet and bitter notes. Interestingly, Ramazzotti Amaro played a significant role in Italian cinema history. In the 1960s, the company sponsored the production of several popular Italian films, including Federico Fellini's "8½," helping to finance and promote Italian cinema during its golden age.

Why We Love It

Cocktail enthusiasts should embrace Ramazzotti Amaro for its rich complexity and versatility in mixed drinks. Unlike rum, Ramazzotti is an Italian amaro (bitter liqueur) that stands out with its unique blend of 33 herbs and spices, including gentian root, cinnamon, and orange peel, creating a balanced profile of bitter, sweet, and spicy notes that can add depth and intrigue to a wide variety of cocktails.

    Spicy bittersweetness

Has a spicy coffee esc flavor upfront and a nice syrupy bittersweet finish. The texture is a little syrupy so I would suggest pairing with ice and soda water or with fruits to lighten it up.
