Based on the suggestion from Sean’s review, I used this liqueur to make a banana daiquiri. I found their spec to be a little dry for my taste and added 0.5 oz of Demerara syrup; it was sublime! I first made it with Smith & Cross but the Jamaican funk overpowered the banana. My second attempt used Planteray (plantation) 5 year and was much more successful. I also thoroughly enjoyed a small pour of this over a rock as a dessert treat. It’s essentially liquified banana bread.
Delightful addition to a daquiri (0.5oz Tempus Fugit, 1oz Lime juice, 2oz rum) to impart a banana flavor without overwhelming the overall drink. Highly recommended if you enjoy that banana taste
You can't go wrong with this one, outstanding flavor and not overpowering.
This particular banana liqueur has wonderful aroma of freshly baked banana bread.
