English Harbour 10 Year Old is distilled in a rare John Dore/Savalle hybrid 100% copper still, fermented for 36 hours in open-top vats using Caribbean molasses, then aged for a full decade in ex-bourbon barrels under the intense Antiguan tropical sun before a one-month wood vat marrying process brings everything together at 80 proof.

• English Harbour 10 Year Old spends its entire aging life in the tropical heat of Antigua, where the combination of intense sun, humidity, and warm nights causes the rum to interact with the barrel at a dramatically accelerated rate compared to spirits aged in cooler climates
• Before it's ever bottled, the blended rum goes through a full month of "marrying" inside large wood vats a deliberately old-school step that most modern distilleries have abandoned in the name of speed. This resting period lets the individual barrels essentially get acquainted with each other, smoothing out any rough edges and creating a more cohesive final spirit.
