The resulting pineapple distillate is then blended back into more Planteray Original Dark Rum, along with a small amount of pineapple rinds that have been separately macerated in white rum, creating a beautifully balanced and aromatic pineapple rum.
We blended this with pineapple juice, pineapple liquor and Fresca. OMG, it was fantastic!
One of my favorite rums under the Planteray Rum lineup. Not too sweet and packed with tropical flavor. Highly recommend it as a delicious twist on the classic Plantation Rum Punch.

.75 oz. Fresh Lemmon Juice
.75 oz. Grenadine (homemade is best)
3 oz. Fresh Orange Juice
3 oz. Planteray Stiggins' Fancy Pineapple Rum
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Nice pineapple flavor without being too sweet.
This rum is spot on! There is no fake candy taste and the pineapple notes are very subtle making this a nice quality infused rum. I was able to get a smokey version too and also very light on the smoke and pineapple which I appreciated. Makes a great spicy daquiri with fire tincture!
This isn't your smack you in the face with fake, sweet pineapple flavors type rum. It's a fairly mild flavor mixed with the darker Plantation rum. (you can read the process they use to get the flavor on the bottle I believe) Good for getting a bit of extra pineapple into or complementing pineapple juice in a cocktail. Probably good for sipping too. Plantation is known for adding a bit of extra sugar in most of their rums though, so it's a tad sweetened already. (apparently from their cognac/brandy background?)
