an absolutely superior product. while im sure alternatives can work in mixing, the real deal's really something to write home about. nearly evaporates on the tongue, with complexity such that you could sip the whole bottle down and not have the words to describe it; it's bold, its nuanced, it's strong, it's sweet, if you can get your hands on it, it is more than worth the price.
Had some back order wait time but Curiada maintained excellent communications so I stayed in the loop with my back order. Would order again!
Our local Total Wine has been out of Green Chartreuse for ...months? I wanted to get a bottle for Christmas and had seen Curiada on How to Drink/Cocktail Chemistry so figured I'd check and see if I could get it from here. I was expecting it to be more expensive but it was no more than what we'd pay at Total Wine (plus shipping). We had a Chartreuse Swizzle the day after Christmas and loved it!
Love Chartreuse, and happy to be able to find it these days, especially without a markup!
Super interesting bottle. Much sweeter than I expected, but still complex and herbal. A crucial ingredient for The Last Word. Definitely a rare find, and worth Curiada's substantial markup.
