Barrel Strength Small Batch is blended from four-grain bourbon mash bills which are aged for between 3 to 4 years in new American oak barrels. It is completely uncut and non chill-filtered. Each barrel was hand selected and blended into a single batch to create this unique offering.
Penelope Bourbon is distilled at MGP's historic Lawrenceburg, Indiana distillery, and is now blended and bottled at Penelope's new blending house in New Jersey.
Mike Paladini and Danny Polise were close friends and childhood neighbors. They and their wives got together and in classic entrepreneurial fashion decided to create a bourbon everyone could love. Penelope Bourbon is named after Mike's daughter, Penelope.
