After seeing and hearing about Ancho Chile Reyes from a plethora of source, we finally decided to get a bottle for ourselves. What we received was far more complex than we anticipated; it’s more than just a sweet, spicy addition to a cocktail. The rich flavor or nutty baking spices and near chocolates texture makes the sweet heat even more enjoyable. I highly recommend using it in all kinds of drinks, but is just as enjoyable with ice and a bit of citrus (a squeeze of lime makes it heavenly). We couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase!

It has a nice smoky flavor and warms my belly in a soothing way. It's also very versatile. The flavor goes well with classic and fruity margaritas, Mezcal, ****** Mary's, hot chocolate or even on its own. This is one of my favorites.
I was expecting this liqueur to be spicy but it actually leads in with a pleasant smokey sweetness and rounds out to spicy at the back-pallet. Can be sipped with ice or used to provide complexity to a spicy mezcal margarita.
