I found their spec to be a little dry for my taste and added 0.5 oz of Demerara syrup; it was sublime! I first made it with Smith & Cross but the Jamaican funk overpowered the banana. My second attempt used Planteray (plantation) 5 year and was much more successful. I also thoroughly enjoyed a small pour of this over a rock as a dessert treat. It’s essentially liquified banana bread.
Delightful addition to a daquiri (0.5oz Tempus Fugit, 1oz Lime juice, 2oz rum) to impart a banana flavor without overwhelming the overall drink. Highly recommended if you enjoy that banana taste
