Pelacañas Llamarada Rum is part of our Dark Rum collection. It comes from Pelacañas Rum and is crafted in Mexico.

Pelacañas Llamarada Rum is a unique Mexican spirit made from 100% fresh-pressed sugarcane juice grown in the shadow of a volcano, offering intense tropical fruit flavors at still strength. Interestingly, it's crafted by a team that includes a "fogonero" or stoker, a traditional role in Mexican distilleries responsible for maintaining the perfect fire temperature during distillation, highlighting the blend of modern techniques and time-honored craftsmanship in every bottle.

Why We Love It

Cocktail enthusiasts will adore Pelacañas Llamarada Rum for its intense, fresh flavor profile derived from 100% estate-grown sugarcane juice cultivated in the shadow of Volcán de Tequila, and its unique production process involving wood fermentation and copper pot distillation that results in a bold, balanced spirit unlike typical molasses-based rums.

    MAD SAVORY YO

I mean smells kinda funky sugarcane banana and then some sharp salty umami comes through

tastes like sugarcane grass gas pepper it's dry the finish tastes like McDonald's bbq sauce. I don't understand the appeal. give me my Jamaican funk keep this. I hate having to pick a "best for" because in my opinion it's best for neither. this is almost as bad as the Sicilian rum I bought from here.
