Due to its high proof, it is highly recommended as a cocktail ingredient rather than a neat sipper. Its absolute best application is providing the high octane backbone to classic tiki drinks like the Zombie or the Jet Pilot. It also works beautifully as a potent float on top of a Mai Tai.

Nose: Intense and complex with aromas of coffee bean, orange peel, plum, and dark fruit jam.

Palate: Powerful and rich. Heavy notes of caramel cream, dark chocolate, and molasses mix with cinnamon, raisin, and nutmeg.

Finish: Extremely long and warming, leaving bold flavors of dark chocolate, clove, and roasted oak.

The blend consists of molasses based rums from three distinct Caribbean terroirs. It combines heavy pot and column still rums from Guyana, funky pot still rums from Jamaica, and balanced pot and column still rums from Barbados. It is bottled at exactly 138 proof to recreate the historic style of overproof dark rums.
