El Tesoro Blanco Tequila is crafted using traditional methods at the La Alteña distillery, where ripe Blue Weber agave piñas are slowly cooked in old brick ovens, then crushed using a two-ton volcanic tahona wheel. The resulting juice is fermented with wild, airborne yeasts and double-distilled to proof in copper pot stills, bottled without dilution at 40% ABV to preserve the pure, intense agave flavors.

• El Tesoro Blanco is one of the few tequilas still made using a tahona wheel—a massive volcanic stone that crushes agave piñas. This labor-intensive process, which takes 36 hours to crush just one ton of agave, preserves more of the agave's natural oils and flavors.
• Unlike most tequilas, El Tesoro Blanco is bottled at its natural proof straight from the still, without adding water to dilute it. This results in a higher-than-average 40% ABV and a more intense, authentic agave flavor profile.
• El Tesoro's distillery, La Alteña, sits at an elevation of 7,200 feet (2,200 meters) in the Jalisco highlands. This high altitude causes the agave to grow more slowly, concentrating its sugars and producing a sweeter, more complex flavor in the final tequila.
