Nose: Fresh citrus peel, particularly orange and lemon. Herbal notes of thyme and sage. Subtle hints of vanilla and chamomile.

Palate: Light and crisp. Flavors of white peach and apricot blend with bitter orange. Herbaceous undertones of wormwood and gentian root. A touch of honey sweetness balances the bitterness.

Finish: Medium length. Lingering notes of citrus zest and aromatic herbs. A pleasant, dry bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit pith. Subtle warmth from the alcohol.

Baldoria Bianco Vermouth is crafted using a blend of Italian white wines and carefully selected botanicals, including wormwood, gentian, and elderflower. What sets this vermouth apart is its unique production process, which involves macerating the botanicals directly in the wine for an extended period, allowing for a more intense and complex flavor profile compared to traditional methods of using distilled botanical extracts.

  • Baldoria Bianco Vermouth is crafted using a rare Mediterranean herb called finocchiella, which imparts a unique anise-like flavor and was once believed to ward off evil spirits in ancient Roman times.
  • Unlike most vermouths that use a wine base, Baldoria Bianco starts with a blend of three different Italian white wines, including the lesser-known Cortese grape, creating a more complex and layered foundation.
  • The bottle's distinctive shape is inspired by an 18th-century Venetian perfume flask, paying homage to vermouth's historical use as both a medicinal tonic and a luxury aromatic drink.
  • Main Ingredient: Grape

      Outstanding. Exceptional Quality

This is complex, yet still refreshing. Wonderful. Even a step up from my beloved Cocchi Americano. Makes a killer White Negroni!

      Incredible Vermouth

I'm always on the lookout for Bianco/Blanc Vermouth, since I'm fond of vintage cocktails. Based on Greg on HTD, I decided to try this out. Man, what an incredibly complicated and vibrant flavor. (Now I have to try the dry and the rosso). My wife, who dislikes any vermouth other than Dolin and Cocchi says this is her new favorite. I sometimes like a Manhattan made with Blanco, and this really elevated the drink. A word of warning -- the flavors are so potent that you really want to go easy on it. It overpowered the base spirit in my usual 3-1 Martini and 2-1 Manhattan, but it worked wonderfully when I cut the amount of Vermouth in half. It also is great neat over ice with a twist, and is also incredible in a Vermouth and Tonic.

      Absolutely Delicious

I love the taste! Sweet but not overly sweet. I bought this on a whim, but am glad i did. Made a couple of Manhattans with it, and was so good!
