I love Batavia Arrack, but it's not for everyone. I even like it for sipping, but it's basically a take on rum that you can use in cocktails.Best ForRated 1.0 on a scale of minus 2 to 2
- Tim B.Verified BuyerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 starsI immediately fell in love with Batavia arrack
I'd seen Batavia arrack used in some of the cocktails that my favorite YouTubers crafted. I was intrigued enough to buy a bottle, and I'm so glad that I did! I instantly loved this fresh spirit with rum funkiness and a long finish of cane syrup. I couldn't quite enjoy sipping this neat, but I've been experimenting with it in just about any cocktail that calls for rum, substituting some or all of the rum with Batavia arrack. I was shocked to find that I really like a blend of demerara rum with Batavia arrack in eggnog, for example. If you like rum, rhum agricole, and cachaça, then I suspect you'll appreciate Batavia arrack, too.
