The tale of Licor 43 Spanish Liqueur starts here. The year is 218 BC. Relations with your powerful neighbor, Rome, have broken down. Well, historians believe Hannibal and his countrymen were big fans of a little something called Liqvor Mirabilis or the miracle liquor! Two thousand one hundred and sixty-four years later, Diego Zamora resurrected the ancient recipe and began distilling in 1946 in modern Carthago Nova -- Cartagena, Spain.
