Mezcal Bosscal Joven
About Mezcal Bosscal Joven
Mexico-made from 100% organic ingredients with an artisanal process. Bosscal Mezcal is produced by 4th generation Mezcalero Uriel Simental Enriquez and his right-hand distiller Alan Hernandez. They hand-select and use mountain-grown durangensis agaves and use only traditional and artisanal production methods.
The agave is wild grown, free of pesticides and hand-picked at age. Each plant is strategically picked with preservation in mind, ensuring the sustainabiliity of each harvest and ensuring a minimal environmental footprint. They call this philosophy, "Mountain to Market."
Tasting Notes for Mezcal Bosscal Joven
On the nose, tropical fruit and herbs. Tastes of light smoke and citrus with a smooth finish. Light smoke; very crisp and smooth with citrus, orange, and blood orange with some tartness; well-balanced palate.

Recommended by: Tony Abou-Ganim, who says: “Bosscal Joven is different from any other mezcal. Lightly smoky and soft with tropical fruits yet bright with citrus like mandarin and lemon zest, it has a very balanced palate. Enjoy it in a cocktail or neat—either way, you’ll find it long and pleasant with all those tropical fruits lingering with just a hint of smoke!”
