Cocktail Description

This sparkling riff on Brazil's national cocktail brings together the grassy, funky notes of cachaça with the celebratory pop of Champagne.

The Caipirinha Royale tastes bright and refreshing, balancing the earthy character of premium cachaça with citrus zing from fresh lime and orange juice, while honey and cane syrup add rounded sweetness. The Champagne topper lifts everything with lively bubbles and a touch of elegance that transforms the rustic caipirinha into something fitting for special occasions. This is a drink that works beautifully at brunch, summer celebrations, or any time you want to add a festive sparkle to a laid-back gathering. Making it requires a bit of effort—you'll need to juice fresh citrus and shake the base ingredients before topping with bubbly—but nothing beyond standard home bartending skills. The orange slice garnish adds a pop of color and hints at the citrus flavors within. Serve this alongside lighter fare like ceviche, grilled shrimp, fresh oysters, or a spread of Brazilian-style cheese bread and tropical fruit.
