Cocktail Description

This isn't your grandmother's martini—the Spicy Blossom brings fire and flowers together in a glass that'll wake up your palate with a gentle slap and a sweet kiss.

The drink balances muddled jalapeño or Fresno chilli with delicate elderflower cordial, while bitter vermouth adds backbone and honey-lime creates a tart-sweet foundation that keeps the heat from overwhelming your taste buds. You'll get an initial floral sweetness that quickly gives way to a peppery warmth, all wrapped in the sophisticated dryness of a proper martini. This cocktail shines at cocktail hour when you want something that sparks conversation, or alongside appetizers at a dinner party where you're aiming to impress without showing off. The technique is straightforward—muddle, shake, strain—making it accessible for home bartenders who've mastered basic skills and aren't afraid of a little capsaicin. Pair it with ceviche, fresh oysters, or spicy Thai appetizers that can stand up to both the heat and the botanical notes. Just remember to warn your guests about that garnish chilli perched on the rim—it's there for looks and aroma, not for munching.
