Strawberry Basil Smash Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

1.5 oz rye
.75 oz lemon juice
.5 oz rich demerara syrup
2 strawberries halved and quartered

Garnish: 4-5 basil leaves

Method

Add basil and strawberries and muddle lightly. Add the rye, lemon, and rich demerara and shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.
