Recommended by: Ally Goddard, as a recommended spirit to pair with Shaker & Spoon’s BRRR-bon Box. Ally says: “It's a wonderful woodsy bourbon with great herbal notes to it, and at 90 proof, it plays wonderfully in stirred cocktails!”
George Dickel is handcrafted at Cascade Hollow Distilling Company. A pioneer of the Lincoln County Process, the special charcoal-filtering technique that sets "Tennessee Whiskey" apart from other bourbons, the distillery actually creates their own charcoal from sugar maple trees.
George Dickel Bourbon is aged 8 years in charred oak barrels and blended to perfection before being bottled for your enjoyment.

I picked this up on a whim, it’s nothing fancy but works well in a Julep or Boulevardier. 90 proof so it has respectable punch for a cocktail, and it made a passable old fashioned. Not my favorite bourbon, but happily used it all up in my home bar.Best ForRated -2.0 on a scale of minus 2 to 2
