Archipelago Botanical Gin is a Other Gin from the Archipelago Gin brand crafted in United States .

Archipelago Botanical Gin is a unique spirit that captures the essence of the Philippines' 7,641 islands, infusing native botanicals like sampaguita (the national flower), ylang-ylang, and dalandan orange. This gin's creation involves a fascinating process where some of its botanicals are smoked using wood from mango trees, imparting a subtle smokiness that sets it apart from other gins.

Why We Love It

Cocktail enthusiasts should embrace Archipelago Botanical Gin for its unique blend of 28 botanicals, including six native to the Philippines like ylang-ylang and pomelo. This gin stands out with its smooth, citrus-forward profile and subtle floral notes, offering a taste of the tropical archipelago in every sip – a refreshing departure from traditional London Dry styles.

    And here's a recipe too

I got a bottle of this as a gift and it's been pretty good. Fine for sipping, but the flavor profile contributes a lot of depth to a good cocktail. I came up with something I call the "Monkey Island Sour":

    1oz Archipelago

    1.25oz Monkey Shoulder

    1oz Lemon juice

0.75oz simple syrup (more to taste)

Shake with ice, strain into a whiskey glass.

It's got a nice evolution from the scotch and the gin playing together.

    So good!

I love botanical gins and this one is awesome. Delicious with FeverTree tonic; doesn't even need a lime...so much flavor on its own.

    My new fave gin!

This was recommended by Shaker and Spoon and boy were they right. Super complex with a lovely nose. You could sip this one or it adds a ton to more spirit forward gin cocktails. I'll be making this one a bar staple from now on.
