Cocktail Description

This bright, spicy sipper turns the classic gin buck into something special with a generous splash of cherry sweetness.

The Cherry Gin Buck builds on the gin buck's foundation of botanical spirit and fiery ginger beer by weaving in Heering Cherry Liqueur and fresh orange juice. You'll get juniper-forward notes from the Beefeater, rich maraschino-like cherry flavors, bright citrus, and that warming ginger kick that ties everything together. It's refreshing without being too sweet, and the ginger beer adds a lively fizz that makes each sip feel celebratory. This drink works beautifully at summer barbecues, weekend brunches, or casual evenings when you want something more interesting than a basic gin and tonic but don't feel like breaking out the cocktail shaker for long. Speaking of which, it's quite easy to make—just a quick shake of three ingredients, a strain, and a ginger beer top. The Cherry Gin Buck pairs wonderfully with grilled pork chops, glazed ham, or Asian-inspired dishes like teriyaki chicken, where the ginger and cherry notes complement savory-sweet flavors. It's also lovely alongside a cheese board featuring aged cheddar or gouda.
