Cocktail Description

This regal twist on the classic Tom Collins transforms a timeless formula into something Prince himself would have appreciated.

The Purple Rain Collins builds on the tried-and-true foundation of vodka, lemon, and sugar, but Chambord's addition brings a lush raspberry complexity that turns the drink's signature purple hue into something spectacular. You'll get bright citrus up front, followed by the velvety sweetness of black raspberry liqueur, all lengthened and refreshed by a sparkling soda finish. It's an easy shake-and-top build that anyone can master in under three minutes, making it perfect for both solo sipping and batch preparation when friends drop by. The drink shines brightest on warm afternoons and early evenings when you want something celebratory but not too heavy. Try pairing it with light appetizers like goat cheese crostini, lemon-pepper chicken skewers, or a charcuterie board featuring mild cheeses and berries. The berry notes in the Chambord also make it a natural companion to brunch dishes, particularly anything with fresh fruit or lemon curd.
