Bananas for this Boulevardier

Enjoy this banana-rama take on the classic Boulevardier.  The interplay of sweet, rich, bitter, & boozy flavors make this an elegant and delicious cocktail.

Turns out Campari and banana liqueur are a match made in heaven!

Boulevardier à la Banane

1 oz rye whiskey (we recommend High N' Wicked 5 Year Old Kentucky Straight Rye)
1 oz sweet vermouth (we recommend Baldoria Rosso)
.5 oz Campari
.5 oz banana liqueur (we recommend Tempus Fugit Crème de Banane)

Method

Add all ingredients to a stirring glass with ice.  Stir for approximately 30 seconds. Strain over an ice-cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with the traditional orange twist, or if you're feeling adventurous, a brulee'd banana slice.
