Strawberry amaro sounds like a treat, doesn't it? This super boutique distillery based out on Long Island is producing beautiful, distinctive spirits, like Daytrip Strawberry Amaro.
Here we let this bottle of goodness shine with a simple elevated treatment that is the perfect low-key sipper, whatever the season.
So no matter if strawberries are ripe for picking, or if it's the middle of winter, you can still taste that summer goodness of sweet real strawberry with a Classic Daytrip.
1.75 oz Daytrip Strawberry Amaro
.5 oz lemon juice
.25 oz Angostura Aromatic Bitters
.25 simple syrup
club soda
Shake all the ingredients except the soda with ice.
Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice.
Top with soda, to taste
