Herbaceous sloe gin is the perfect foil for the slightly salty, grassy flavors found in rhum agricole, which is made from sugarcane rather than molasses.

This is a great fall or winter cocktail, warming from the spices found in the sloe gin, a pleasing festive color, and distinctive, delicious flavors.

Ingredients

1.5 oz rhum agricole
1 oz sloe gin
0.5 oz Classic Gum Syrup from Liber & Co
0.5 oz lime juice
3 dashes Peychaud's

Directions

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake hard for 20 seconds.
Strain into a chilled rocks glass.
