A Summer Seltzer Cocktail with Lunar Craft Hard Seltzer
We're loving these new craft hard seltzers from Lunar. Fresh, interesting flavors that are delicious and refreshing solo, but they also pair super well with spirits for an easy, yet still elevated cocktail.
Here's one that our friends at Lunar recommend!
Ume Highball: a refreshing and bold Japanese-style whiskey highball
Ingredients
0.50 oz whiskey (Use any whiskey you like, but unpeated works best.)
5 oz Lunar Plum Hard Seltzer
0.5 tsp ginger juice (from crushed or grated fresh ginger)
ice
ginger thinly sliced, to garnish
Method
Make ginger juice by grating a portion of fresh ginger and squeezing/straining out the juice until you have .5 teaspoons.
Fill a tall glass with ice. Combine the whisky and ginger juice in a small glass or cocktail shaker and pour down the side of the glass.
Top with Lunar Plum Hard Seltzer, once again pouring down the side of the glass. Stir gently and garnish with a ribbon of thinly sliced ginger. Serve immediately.
