This deep ruby red drink is an alluring stirred combination of delicious intense flavors, featuring several back-shelf bottles that have a reputation as "bartender picks." Sure everyone knows Campari, but when was the last time you had a cocktail with Fernet Branca, Bourbon, two additional Amaros, Campari, and an absinthe rinse?

Directions

Put one large ice cube in a rocks glass and add absinthe.
In a mixing glass add remaining ingredients and stir to chill.
Strain absinthe out of serving glass reserving the ice and fill with the stirred cocktail.
