Tasting Notes

On the nose toffee caramel and ripe tropical fruits mixed with light oak and spice notes. On the palate, a smooth, full-bodied texture characteristic of well-made rums. Expect flavors of ripe bananas, toasted almonds, and molasses, with that undercurrent of rich demerara.

Selected in Summer 2020 and released in December 2020. The Hamilton Florida Rum Society Blend, an open edition, is created from a blend of Caribbean rums (65% from Guyana and 35% from Jamaica) and produced in small quantities to maintain the highest quality.

The blending process is carried out under careful supervision and attention to detail, resulting in a rum with consistent taste and character. Following blending, it further matures for a defined period to let the flavors meld together and develop complexity.
