Cocktail Description

This Brazilian-inspired riff on the classic Mojito brings tropical vibrancy to your glass with a refreshing combination of muddled mint, white rum, and lime that'll transport you straight to the beaches of Rio.

The Minty Carioca tastes like sunshine in liquid form—bright lime cuts through the subtle sweetness of cane syrup while fresh mint adds cooling herbaceous notes, all lifted by a gentle fizz from club soda. The Plantation 3 Stars rum contributes a clean, slightly funky backbone that ties everything together without overwhelming the drink's lighter qualities. This Collins-style cooler shines during warm-weather gatherings, poolside hangs, or any time you need a pick-me-up that's both invigorating and easy-drinking. Making it requires a bit more technique than your average highball—the multiple churning steps ensure proper dilution and temperature—but nothing a home bartender can't handle with a little practice. The light, citrus-forward profile makes it a natural companion to grilled fish, ceviche, Brazilian churrasco, or fresh salads with tropical fruit. Serve this beauty at your next backyard barbecue and watch it become the afternoon's most requested drink.
