Late winter weather is begging for a burst of tropical sunshine – and that's where the Mango Tango Presto comes in. This isn't just any cocktail; it's an unexpected detour, a little like stumbling into a hidden beach party in the heart of Guatemala.
We start with Coconut Cartel Rum – this stuff is the real deal, far from a typical sweet rum. Aged in American oak, it's got character. a bit rough around the edges, like it's seen some things. There's a hit of caramel, a whisper of sandalwood, and that burnt brown sugar... the sweet smokiness of a beach bonfire. And the coconut – it's there, but it's not in your face. More like the quiet rhythm of waves in the background, with just enough saltiness to remind you of the sea.
Then we bring in the mango juice. Sunshine in a bottle, bold and unapologetic. Pair it with the kick of lime juice, and you've got a combination that’s as lively as that dance made famous in the streets of Buenos Aires. And don't forget the bitters; they're the final flourish, the last word in a good story.
Sip on the Mango Tango Presto and let the rhythm of the tropics beat back the chill of winter. This drink that brings the party, no matter the season! 🍹💃🌴
