This holiday rum punch is your go-to solution for effortless holiday hosting. It’s simple, festive, and foolproof—exactly what you need when the to-do list starts feeling a little too long. With just a bit of advance prep, you can have this crowd-pleasing cocktail ready to serve. No more juggling multiple drink requests while also trying to time the turkey just right!
This punch blends the excellent flavors of a high-quality rum (we recommend Foursquare Probitas, but the choice is yours!) with cozy, seasonal apple and homemade cinnamon syrup. The syrup, which can be made ahead, brings a subtle spiced sweetness that pairs perfectly with the natural richness of the rum. Fresh lemon juice and a touch of water add balance, while several generous dashes of Angostura bitters ties everything together with a hint of herbal complexity.
The best part? This is a one-punchbowl wonder. No shaking, no muddling, no endless refills. Just mix everything together, add a big block of ice, and garnish with thinly sliced apples and a sprinkle of freshly grated cinnamon. Easy has never been so delicious.
This holiday rum punch works for any crowd, from a casual family dinner to a lively holiday party. It’s festive without being fussy, with a broadly appealing flavor profile. Plus, having a ready-made cocktail on hand means one less thing to think about, so you can actually relax and enjoy the moment.
