This grog starts with the formidable Planteray Mister Fogg Navy Rum, a storied rum that’s been seasoned on the high seas and packs notes of molasses, dark chocolate, and vanilla, with a whisper of dried fruits and spices.

To keep the ship steady, we’ve got the bitter best: Suze, to keep things on course. The zing of grapefruit juice and lime juice -- a citrus tang that brightens up the drink. Ah, is that a sea breeze I feel?

Ingredients

2 oz Planteray Mister Fogg Navy Rum
.5 oz Suze
.75 oz grapefruit juice
.75 oz lime juice
.5 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey & water)

Directions

Shake all ingredients with ice until well chilled.
Strain into a tumbler and top with a mountain of crushed ice.
Garnish with a thin grapefruit wheel and bouquet of mint.
