At its base is aged rhum agricole, grassy, earthy, and full of sun-drenched character. It keeps the drink bright and lively, a reminder of longer days and warm evenings. Layered against it is St. George’s Spiced Pear Liqueur, which leans into autumn with cozy spice and orchard fruit richness. Together, the two set up a conversation between seasons: one tropical and vibrant, the other crisp and warming.
Fresh lime juice and simple syrup tie it all together, keeping the flavors sharp and refreshing. Served over crushed ice and garnished with a cinnamon stick and a slice of grapefruit, the Ponga Punch looks festive while staying balanced and easy to sip.
This drink feels just right for September—half hammock, half harvest, a bridge between summer’s brightness and fall’s depth.
1.75 oz aged agricole rhum
0.75 oz St. George Spirits Spiced Pear Liqueur
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
grapefruit slice & cinammon stick for garnish
Add all ingredients to a shaker.
Fill it ¾ full of ice, and shake for seven seconds.
Strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a grapefruit slice.
