Cocktail Description

This bright, herbaceous cooler is what happens when a gin and tonic meets a mojito at a spring garden party.

The Gin Garden Smash brings together the botanical punch of Beefeater London Dry Gin with the cooling freshness of muddled mint and tart lemon juice, sweetened just enough with Giffard's sugar cane syrup to keep everything in balance. The result tastes clean and refreshing, with juniper and citrus playing off each other while the mint adds a cooling lift that makes each sip feel like a reset button for your palate. This is a perfect warm-weather sipper for backyard gatherings, weekend brunches, or any time you want something that feels lighter than a typical gin cocktail but still has plenty of character. The recipe is straightforward enough for beginners—just remember to bruise the mint gently rather than pulverizing it, which can turn things bitter—and it comes together in minutes. Pair this with grilled fish, fresh salads, goat cheese crostini, or anything with bright, summery flavors that won't compete with the gin's botanicals.
