Cocktail Description

This herbaceous riff on the classic martini brings together the aromatic punch of fresh rosemary with the subtle sweetness of muddled white grapes, creating a drink that's both refined and refreshingly unexpected.

The Rosemary Grape Gin Martini balances botanical gin with floral St-Germain and bright lime juice, while muddled grapes add natural sweetness and body to soften the spirit-forward base. Fresh rosemary weaves through every sip, lending a savory, pine-like quality that plays beautifully against the elderflower's delicate notes. This cocktail requires a bit of elbow grease—you'll need to muddle the grapes and rosemary leaves thoroughly to extract their flavors—but the technique is straightforward enough for confident home bartenders. It's an ideal choice for early evening gatherings or dinner parties, particularly during late summer and fall when you want something sophisticated that bridges the gap between garden-fresh and cozy. The herbal, slightly savory profile makes it a natural companion to cheese boards featuring aged gouda or manchego, roasted chicken with herbs, or grilled vegetables drizzled with olive oil. Serve this at your next dinner party and watch your guests pause after that first sip, trying to identify what makes it so distinctive.
