Cocktail Description

This cocktail is what happens when a sophisticated Manhattan meets a spicy Moscow Mule for breakfast – bold, spirited, and ready to kickstart your day or night.

The Rye & Shine balances the peppery backbone of Rittenhouse Rye with the complex bitterness of Kina L'Aero d'Or and the caramel-citrus notes of Amaro Averna, all brightened by the sharp ginger bite from Three Cents Ginger Beer. The result is a tall, refreshing drink with surprising depth – spicy, slightly bitter, with hints of orange peel, caramel, and a warming ginger finish. Perfect for brunch gatherings or as an evening aperitif when you want something with character but still refreshing. Making this drink requires some bartending basics – if you can stir and strain, you can craft this cocktail with minimal fuss. Pair it with savory brunch foods like eggs benedict, spicy dinner dishes like jerk chicken, or rich desserts where the cocktail's spice and bitterness will cut through sweetness beautifully.
