Cachaça isn't as well-known a spirit as some of the others, but man, it makes for a crazy good cocktail.
Here are a few suggestions for the best simple and easy to make at home cachaça cocktails. These will have you savoring delicious flavors in no time.

The Classic Caipirinha
A long-time bartender friend - she really knows her stuff - said of this one, "It makes a damned good Caipirinha and the flavor doesn’t disappear when you add lime juice."

1.5 ounces Abelha Organic Cachaça Prata Muddle half a lime with the sugar in a glass. Add crushed ice, then pour the cachaça atop and stir. Top up with a bit more ice and enjoy! |
The Latin Fashioned
Enjoy this in front of a fire or as an after-dinner drink for a Brazilian riff on an iconic cocktail.

2 ounces Abelha Organic Cachaça Ouro Place sugar cube in an old-fashioned glass and saturate with bitters, then add a dash of plain water. Muddle until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add aged cachaça. Add an orange slice and a cocktail cherry if you're in the mood. Drinkware recommendation: switch it up with Nautical Rocks Glasses. |

A beautiful pink hue and a taste to match.

1.5 ounces Abelha Organic Cachaça Prata Shake all ingredients with ice and fine-strain into a chilled coupe. Twist a lime zest over top and discard. Cocktail cherry on top if it suits! |
