On The Wings of Eagles: A Cocktail For Philly Fans

This delicious cocktail features a unique blend of flavors, crafted with the help of Fernet-Branca, aptly bearing an iconic eagle on its bottle. It was created by Philly barman Matthew Polzin in the run-up to the Eagles' 2017 win.
Ingredients
.5 ozĀ Fernet-Branca
1.5 oz Pierre Ferrand Original Formula 1840 Cognac
.5 oz Sazerac Straight RyeĀ Whiskey
.75 ozĀ Green Chartreuse
2 dashes lemon bitters
mint sprig
Method
Add the Fernet-Branca into a rocks glass and roll the glass to coat the sides of the glass. Add the cognac, rye, Green Chartreuse and bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Cut a wide piece of orange peel. Strain the drink into the prepared glass over one large ice cube and the orange peel. Garnish with a mint sprig.
