Make brunch even better with spring's must-sip spritz.
The Colletti Royale
Shout-out to Julie Reiner, of New York's Clover Club & Leyenda, for this banger of a spritz recipe.
Now hear me out, this is not of those easy peasy, put two things together cocktails. Of course, with a name like Royale, how could it be?
No, this is a spritz meant for splashing out. Big flavors, big impact. This drink has multiple liqueurs, multiple juices, a spirit base, plus bubbly, plus bitters. And don't forget the garnish!
But before you're put off, let me just say: it's worth every bit of effort. With a big beautiful taste and a gorgeous presentation to boot.
When you really want to pull out the stops and serve your guests a cocktail that's they won't forget, this is the one. Yes it requires a bit of effort, but oh what sweet reward when it comes time to take a sip!
