This cocktail kicks off with Barrow’s Intense Ginger Liqueur, and let’s just say the name doesn’t lie. Its bold, spicy heat doesn’t ask for permission—it grabs your attention, ignites the palate, and refuses to let go. But where there’s heat, there’s balance. Cointreau steps in with its dry, citrusy charm, adding a smooth, sweet note that keeps the fire from burning too hot.
Beefeater Gin brings structure to the mix with its crisp, juniper-forward profile—a steady hand in a drink designed to be anything but steady. Fresh lemon juice to bring it all together. And then the warmth and bite of Angostura orange bitter. Not just garnish— the final tease, hinting at spicy complex flavors that keep things going.

1.5 oz Beefeater or another London Dry Gin
0.75 oz Barrow’s Intense Ginger Liqueur
0.5 oz Cointreau or another triple sec
2 dashes Angostura Orange Bitters
0.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.
Stir for 20 seconds.
Pour into a martini glass.
Rub a thin slice of blood orange around the rim of the glass and then place it in the drink.
