Cocktail Description

This stunning take on the classic Margarita gets its name from the gorgeous ruby hue that blood orange and Campari bring to your glass, creating a drink that's as beautiful as it is delicious.

The Crimson Margarita balances the smooth agave notes of Patron Silver with the bright citrus punch of blood orange and lime, while Campari adds a subtle bitter backbone that keeps things interesting. Giffard's triple sec and cane syrup round out the edges without making it cloyingly sweet, and that half salt rim lets you control how much savory contrast you want with each sip. This is a moderately easy cocktail to make at home—the only real effort is squeezing fresh citrus, which is always worth it. It's perfect for late winter and early spring when blood oranges are at their peak, whether you're hosting a dinner party or just treating yourself to something special on a Friday evening. The bitter-citrus profile makes it a natural companion to grilled fish tacos, ceviche, or even a charcuterie board with aged manchego and spicy salami. That gorgeous color and the interplay between sweet, sour, salty, and bitter make this a Margarita that stands out from the crowd.
